Love this air purifier
This is my FOURTH Alen air purifier. I now own two Alen T300s and two Alen BreatheSmart air purifiers. I also own IQAir and Blueair air purifiers.
I love how intelligent this air purifier is and much less than the IQAir. I love the way it changes on automatically sensing the air around it. Now that's a smart air purifier. Of course, I also love how energy efficient it is. It's sleek as well. Easy to move around. I leave mine on the ground next to my office. My husband has his up on a filing cabinet.
It's so easy to change the filters and I love how much more square footage it covers compared to my Alen T300s. The energy star rating is a big bonus as running an air purifier in each room daily definitely eats into our electricity bill.
How much do I love this air purifier? I just sold a fairly new Blueair to upgrade to this model.

Pretty nice, kind of big but does just what we need it to!
We bought this out of necessity of my SO having issues with allergies. We have 3 dogs in the house and the dander and dust can build up within a day easily. Before purchasing, he was sneezing, coughing, stuffed up and just plain miserable. It arrived fast, was easy to get started and has pretty much alleviated his problems. I give it 5 stars, as it functions just as described and has made him feel so much better. The only downfall is that it is big and can be a little loud. It takes up quite a bit of space compared to other purifiers I have had, which have all been towers. I must say that's not a fair comparison, as this is not and was not advertised as a "space saving tower". Just keep in mind that you'll need a place for this that is at least a foot out from a wall and almost 2 feet in width. It obviously must have breathing room as well to grab air - the fresh air is blown out of the top. The noise isn't horrible and it's just a blowing sound, not any obnoxious mechanical...
Technology that really works!
We recently acquired the newest air purifier made by Alen called the BreatheSmart. It has a number of Smart features that makes it effective and user friendly. In short it is wonderful. We have an open concept home, so it is kept in our living room which also opens into our kitchen and it has done a superb job covering the area which is probably a little over 950 Sq. Ft. The air is noticeably fresher and cleaner, and my wife's stuffy head seems to have been relieved. As an FYI, We also set up an additional Alen Air Purifier (T300) tower in the bedroom. I would definitely recommend getting the new Breathe Smart.
Visually speaking, the Breathe Smart is a super clean modern looking device that does a decent job blending into any decor. It is easy to to set up and the controls are intuitive. Filter changing is about as easy as it gets and anyone can do it. My favorite feature is the air quality monitor that uses simple colored lights (blue=clean, white = so so, red=dirty) to let...
