Couldn't do without this product in Florida
We put this product in our motorhome each month, and it keeps the damp away. Our Florida summers are very humid so it's saving us alot of headache and money by keeping our motorhome dry. We have a 35 foot motorhome and put either a hanging damp rid or canister in several areas of the upper part of the home as well as in every basement compartment. It really does the trick. We didn't used to put so much in the home, but had problems with a terrible damp smell that overpowered us when we stepped into the home. That problem is now solved with the addition of several well placed damp rid products.
great absorbing water in damp places
I live close to the beach and excess moisture is a real problem. These little granules absorb so much water. I put some in each closet area and check on it on a monthly basis and I am now rid of that extra moisture that can cause black mold to form. This really works wonders. I wouldn't be caught without it.
Works like non-scented, has definate scent
I use damprid often and it helps a lot. Otherwise I would have to buy multiple dehumidifiers, power them and worry about maintenance. The scent of this is strong, mostly at first. It is basically plesant and I use it in remote areas. If you are repulsed by smells or irritated by perfumes, you might prefer the non-scented. I just buy whichever is cheapest.
