At least you sold two belts.
I needed belt number 38528-027. Took the number off the old belt and the tag on the machine, so I know it is correct. I was sent belt # 38528040, supposedly a replacement for that belt. It is not a replacement. It's 3 1/2 " shorter than the belt I need. Go figure. At 2.00 each I probably will not spend $5 to ship them back. Bought two for 'just in case'.
Very Good Product
Quality heavy duty belt at a very reasonable price. Does what its supposed to do. Not much more I can say except, always make sure you are ordering the exact belt replacement for your vac. This will save you the hassle of a return. Belts are very specific to type and model of the vac you have.
CORRECT REPLACEMENT PART FOR AN OLD MACHINE
The belt seemed at first not to be the correct one. However, in a telephone conversation the seller assured me that although the part number was new, the belt was the same. After following his instructions for the
installation, I found the belt worked correctly.
The seller was very responsive, prompt, and knowledgeable; the item was appropriately priced. I highly recommend this company for Hoover parts.
