I'm in love!
I'm a quilter, and I also make doll clothes, so I do plenty of ironing. After years of putting up with the flimsy ironing board covers and cheap foam pads, enough was finally enough, and I decided to get this Ritz set, despite the price. I don't love the drab color, but the cover is substantial and well made, and fits smoothly and very securely, without a hint of a wrinkle, over the thick, soft, firm pad. No sliding, no thin spots, no wrinkling up! The cover and pad just stay smoothly in place like the professionals they are, making the ironing I do so much easier! I wish I had bought this set years ago.
Makes ironing much easier
Fits my old, sturdy board snugly and stays put. The pad is thick and smooth and the cover promotes effective ironing at lower temperatures. The pad has neither scorched nor cracked over time and has not stained even when wet from water spills from the steam iron.
Old Fashioned Quality
The Ritz Professional Treated Cotton Basic Ironing Board Cover and Pad is good old fashioned quality. The pad is 100 percent cotton, as least processed as possible, not foam rubber. That means it will only get better with time, not gradually burn up under the heat and steam of an iron. The cover is highest quality and treated to resist stains and heat. It fits my ironing board really well, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Your clothes deserve to have this kind of quality. I highly recommend this over any ironing board set that has the foam padding.
