Great company - wrong part
I have to say that the customer service was excellent. When the part didn't work, they issued a refund.
As I found out, there are about 10 different type of 3 way pull switches. If you use the wrong switch, the fan will only work on two speeds, not all three speeds. This switch didn't work with my old Hunter fan. I ordered a switch from SwitchCo in Lubbock, Texas which worked. Lowes and Home Depot also don't carry the correct switches. The older Hunter fans take type "01", at least mine did. You need to take apart the switch and look at the very small metal pieces inside to see what type of switch you need.
Worked with our ~1992 Hunter fan.
Was an exact replacement of our hunter 1992 age fan.
Our old switch had the chain fall out, so we just needed the switch.
Was easy enough to replace too.
Perfect replacement
This switch was a replacement purchased for an older ceiling fan that requires a two tier switch with 6 wires. All the newer fans use a one tier switch with 4 wires so thats all that was availible locally.
