Easyway 16" Heat Sealer
It works well for bags that are not for heavy duty. It shorts out easy on the heavy duty bags. The company I ordered from gave very good service. The first sealer shorted out after a few bags were sealed. The company sent us another sealer right away. We ordered this through Amazon.
Piece of junk
I bought one of these several months ago and it stopped working after a few seals.
The seller refunded me and told me to keep it. I felt guilty leaving bad feedback because the seller refunded me in full. I wanted to at least leave a product review so that others have my feedback on the product.
Briefly, after I received a refund on this product I ordered a replacement from Uline. The Uline models cost much more so I only got a 12" sealer to save money. Comparing the two devices side-by-side it is easy to see how differently each is constructed. Clearly, the Uline sealer is a better quality product.
After the cheap one failed the first day out of the box I tried to fix it, for several hours. It would work for a few seals and then die again, which is why I asked for a refund.

good for the money
this was about the lowest price i could find for one of these. unfortunately, the unit was defective but the customer service was OUTSTANDING in replacing it. i really was very impressed, and the replacement works well. it does take some trial and error to get a neat edge, but once you get it down the unit works very nicely.
