I purchased 2 foam sleeves for my shop vacs. The only down side is that one tore on the side seem trying to put it over the filter. It is very difficult to stretch the foam sleeve without tearing it.

fits, works, what more can you want?
i went thru 2 normal air filters before realizing that a waterproof filter existed, i like it. some people complained that it doesn't fit, but while it's snug (I think it has to be to work) it fits fine for me.

Close Fit Replacement
Foam Sleeve filter was a little hard to fit on the unit, had to move it a little bit at a time all around the gage. Once on, it worked perfectly.

Fresh Wave Odor Neutralizing Carpet Shake, 6 Ounce

A Refreshing Solution
This neutralizing carpet powder is the real deal.

In just one application, my living room now smells free from the trapped musty odors of summer. Everyone who has carpet knows that dirt and odors absorb into the tiny crevices of the carpet and it is then that the awful smells perforate in the air. It is immediate--you can smell your musty pet odors when you enter the room.

But I'm glad I invested in this six-ounce canister of carpet powder. It works. But I've had to apply a second application the following day. But after you vacuum up the white powder, letting it sit for ten minutes or longer, you notice the woodsy smell immediately. And now when I enter the room, I cannot detect the awful smells of pet and must odor.

And unlike some of the other customers here, the odor of woodsy pines did not affect my olfactory senses, or my allergies. I highly recommend this product.

Disappointed
I use Fresh Wave Gel all the time and expected the carpet shake to work as well for eliminating odors in my carpet. It doesn't.

Totally neutralized dank mildew odor in carpet
I'm shocked at how well this stuff worked -- I just moved into a new rental apt, and the bedroom carpet had a dank, basement-like mildew smell. The smell was really overwhelming... I couldn't be in the room for more than a few minutes bc it was so strong. I used an entire can on a 10x12 room, and I can't smell any trace of the mildew now. It's only been a day since I used the shake, so will update the review after some time.

Oreck Xl21 Vacuum Cleaner Brush Roll - Genuine

Excellent replacement for the XL21 though not OEM
I ordered this brush roll as a replacement to my original XL21 brush in which the bearings seized. I was unaware that I was purchasing an aftermarket brush roll.

Upon initial inspection, I noticed that the brush roll I received was heavier than the original. The edges of the brush roll are of a cast aluminum construction as opposed to the molded plastic of the original. The brush roll installed as easily and fits as well as the OEM.

In regard to performance, I can only speculate as I have conducted no scientific tests. I would guess however that the overall cleansing performance of the brush roll is similar to that of the original as the roll is very similar in design with very similar bristles and brush pattern.

I would definitely recommend this brush roll for those seeking a lower cost alternative to that of the original XL21 brush roll as the performance and quality seems to almost mirror that of the original.

Not genuine, but it works...
Just like the other reviewer stated the title for this item is misleading. While it has been working fine for the last few months, it didn't fit the vacuum perfectly. The size of the unit I received was maybe a 8th to a 16th inch too wide, but fit nonetheless.

Oreck xl brush
Came, fit perfect and was same as factory part, but much much lower price then going to oreck for the same part. Works as good as when new and is 8 years old.

This heater was perfect for replacing our 31 year old bathroom heater as we required dimensions that would cover the hole in the wall with surrounding antique tile. The Stiebel Eltron is very quiet and immediately produces a strong flow of warm air so one can bath without waiting to warm the room. Great product and attractive in it's white design.

Dyson Car Cleaning Kit

Older and newer versions have their drawbacks...
The kit comes with 3 tools, and 1 adapter. There are 2 versions of this kit though. The older one (which I purchased) comes with a tension "snap into place" style adapter. It attaches to each tool, and then slides on to the end of the Dyson hose. The adapter's an absolute PAIN to get on and off of the tools though, so....Dyson upgraded to a quick release type. Unfortunately, the quick release adapter is a bit too small, so it's difficult to get onto the Dyson hose. Not much of an improvement! (One of my other Dyson tools has that adapter, so I've been able to experience both.) Because the old adapter was a better fit for my vacuum, I kept the kit, and bought 2 more adapters directly from Dyson for $2/ea. Now I'm set! 3 tools, 3 adapters, no interchanging, no fuss!

Love two of the three tools
I bought this and love two of the three tools. They work great and help so much around the house and getting into the nooks. the car tool that is part bendable plastic is great to get under the seats or behind the dryer where you need the product to bend just a bit.

the car tool I don't think works all that well. It uses the vaccum wind to get the brushes to spin and it is WAY to easy to get them to stop or not work. the kit is cheaper than buy each of the other two pieces by themselves so i would recommend the kit over purchasing individual pieces assuming the pricing stays the way it currently is.

Cant live without it!
I got this a little over a year ago and love it, it makes cleaning my car so much easier!

Dirt Devil SD40010 EZ Lite Bagless Canister

IMPORTANT INFO regarding CLOGS
I've owned this vac for about 2 months and began experiencing loss of suction and poor performance. I was literally at wit's end and ready to throw the thing out the window. I bought new filters and still the same problems. I read the instruction manual over and over, looking for some reason. Here's the deal that the instruction manual DOESN'T mention: there is a pre-filter inside the plastic "bagless" collector part you pull out and empty (NOT related to the grey sponge or the HEPA filter). Open the bottom of the dirt/dust collector. Empty the contents and look up inside. There is a black cylinder inside a clear cylindrical receiver. I hold the bagless collector in my left hand so when I turn it upside down, the assembly is on the right. You can't miss it, although I did for 2 months. That is where all the hair and other light-weight junk builds up!!! Give the black cylinder a counter-clockwise twist, pull it out, and clean. I literally pulled out about a packed 8-ounce...

Cheap, powerful, versatile, easy to use and clean.
I can't believe how many people complain about having to clean out the dirt, debris, hair, and dust from a BAGLESS vacuum. How did they think the dirt got out, internal incineration? Having no bag means it uses filters and catches to stop the stuff on your floor and in your carpet from blowing out the other end of the machine after it's sucked up.

How about this: buy some cheap rubber or latex gloves and a cheap white breathing mask to wear while you clean out the canister each time if you can't handle getting dirty and you don't want to pay more for a fancier vacuum.

I looked on Amazon and the top rated bagless canister vacs are Miele and are up to $500+. I'm assuming they are less effort to clean out but the principle is the same. Everything that goes in, must come out one way or the other even if it means clogging up your machine and throwing the whole thing away.

As for using this one, yes, everything it sucks up, you have to eventually dump...

Wish I could give ZERO STARS
This vac was impressive out of the box. the suction was amazing... for a week. You quickly will discover that his vac takes an enormous amount of TLC. If you have a woman in the house with longish hair, or pets, it will clog up immediately. You have to use your fingers or a tool to pull out the debris EVERY time you vacuum. The filter pad has direct contact with debris, so it need to be replaced or washed every few vacuums. WE VACUUM EVERY DAY.. not carpet.. hard wood floors.. and this vac lasted a month before it completely died, despite all our extra care of unclogging, etc.
I'm not sure what it is supposed to vacuum up. It can't handle hair.. it chokes on anything bigger than a cheerio.
Miserable, awful product. Went into the garbage today.
I suspect it has probably already been discontinued.
PLEASE don't waste your money.

Great Slow Cooker, Not Great On The Go
If you're looking for a reliable slow cooker, this one is great. If you want to be able to transport your items without spillage...look elsewhere. As a slow cooker it has everything I need; settings warm, low, and high. I wish I'd done my homework before asking for this for Christmas last year; unfortunately, this thing leaks even when "locked". I didn't find this out until late last year so it's too late to return, but it's still functions very well as a slow cooker.

Easy to Install - Quiet motor
Installed this heater in a small mudroom I built in our home. Our home has forced hot air and it would not have been easy to get the ductwork into the room for heat so I looked for an alternate heat source and found this nice little heater in my searching. Based on other reviews I read mostly positive reviews and I can only agree with all of them. Fan motor is VERY quiet and the heater heats up super quickly and the blower moves the heat around very nicely. I would recommend this for any small room that needs a heat source or even like a bathroom if you were looking for additional heat to supplement your primary heat source in the cold climates / months (say to take the chill out while taking a shower). Good small heater option
This heater appears to be well made and is a good wall install design. I didn't rate it the best of the best only because the thermostat does not have an on-off switch for airconditioned summer use, I had to install it with a separate wall mounted switch with an "on" indicator light. I installed this in our motor home bathroom to knock the chill off after a shower. This heater does not have the typical heater fan noise, it makes no sound at all when running.

Dyson Groom Tool / Clean Up Kit

This is my first-ever Amazon review. I ordered this kit because it was almost half the price of the Groom Tool alone from other vendors. I imagine I will use the "Zorb "at some point but I have not yet done so, since I don't have any carpets. A word of caution for novice dog owners-the Groom Tool is basically a wire-pinned "slicker" brush, commonly used on thick, long haired, or double-coated dogs (and cats), such as my own two German Shepherd Dogs. Therefore, it may not be an appropriate tool for a slick-coated, short haired pet. For those pets, I would recommend using the stiff bristle "mud" brush that comes with the kit, or a similar brush (I practiced with my recently clipped Cocker and the "mud" brush worked well). I use my Groom Tool with a Dyson DC 39 animal vacuum, which has very powerful suction. It is important to use common sense when using the tool for the first time with your pet. If you have a tiny smooth-coated chihuahua, it is probably not going to be suitable, because...

Absolutely awesome! I have a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix who sheds just standing still. I have to vacuum or sweep twice a day just to keep up.
Jake already loved to be vacuumed, but the little brush attachment on my vacuum didn't remove any but the loosest hair. This tool is amazing!!
One 5 minute groomimg session filled the dirt chamber on my Hoover WindTunnel cannister - and it holds a lot. It performs exactly as advertised and I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase.

I love this groom tool! I have a Golden Retriever and this has made grooming so much easier! I hated grooming before and dealing with the fly away hair and cleaning out the brush every stroke, now with one click of the button the hair is gone!
Make sure you know your dog will be okay with the vacuum running and brushing at the same time otherwise this is not a good choice for you and your dog.

Still working just as good as ever! The inside still looks like new. Only now after a few years is the exterior starting to show any wear. The white "Breadman" logo on the black glossy exterior of this bread machine has started to wear off a little (from being washed/wiped down with wet clothes). Other than that everything still looks and works as it always has.

Sill using it all the time and still loving it. Never had a single problem. The non-stick coating on the inside is still perfect, no scratches and is still releasing bread flawlessly. Over the last 2 years of owning this I've never once had a single problem.

1/13/2011 update
I finally received a call back, the rep asked me many questions to ascertain if it was fixable. It was not. As this is a brand new model, I was the only person to date that had encountered this problem, yay me! :-(
The solution was to cut off the plug & mail it in a padded mailer & upon arrival they will replace the faulty unit. I certainly will put the new unit to a MUCH more rigorous baking schedule than I had the previous one, to make sure if is is going to fail, it will while still under warranty! I will continue to post my results!

UPDATED: A little bakery in a box

I have had the Breadman for 2 years now and use it fairly often. Some things have broken: the nut dispenser was DOA and badly designed. (But not worth the packing up and returning for a new one.) One of the collapsible paddles broke from metal fatigue. And they never really collapse to the flat profile that is promised. What I tend to use is one or two of the 1 lb loaf pans and the non-collapsible paddles. I baked a white wheat-buttermilk bread with golden flaxseeds (my recipe) on the 1 lb, Whole Wheat Cycle, last weekend and it's some of the best bread I've made. I would say, this unit is not as durable as I'd have liked, but it has done well for me. However, if I had a big household and baked every week, I wonder if the unit would have lasted me as long.

We have a non-wheat eater at home, and we are not alone. Many people these days have found out they are intolerant to gluten, and others eat low-carb breads while losing or maintaining weight. Standard...

IQAir® PF40 Kit Replacement Coarse Dust Pre-Filter Pads (5 Pack)

Must have for your IQAir
These replacement filters are the Official IQAir Coarse pre-filters PF40. They arrived in an official IQAir box with the IQAir Logo Tape sealing the top. They are inexpensive (unlike the prefilter system), you get 5 for $50, so why even bother trying to wash the old ones out.

The amount of dust these trap and thus prevent from clogging the much more expensive preMax filter is amazing. They extend the life of the preMax by months. They are well worth the expense. Just remember to change them often. I change mine about every 6-8 weeks.

I love them and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.

Worth Using - Kit Unnecessary
These filters at least double the life of my pre-filter. Don't waste your money like I did on the "kit" which includes 3 of these filters with a metal bracket. I use these filters without the bracket, which I find to be totally unnecessary. I simply fit the filters right under the pre-filter where they fit snugly and securely with nothing additional needing to be installed. My bracket ened up in the trash. See my review on the kit for more details. You will see how much dust is trapped by these filters after using them for a short period of time.

A "MUST-HAVE" if you have animals
We have 3 dogs and 2 cats, and adding the Coarse Dust Pre-Filter to our IQAir unit has made a HUGE difference in its overall efficiency (and will undoubtedly extend the life of the unit itself). I can't recommend it highly enough for anyone that has pets in the same space filtered by the IQAir.

Winter's avenger
Moved into a small 50's chalet in northern Michigan last fall and after being warned by the previous owner that i should get a woodstove to cure the cold feel of the place, i found this enexpensive radiant heater and ordered it. I knew that a ventless heater could cause water vapor issues and hoped for the best. Windows can be a bit foggy on cold nights but not a serious worry with a ceiling fan to move air. The forced air furnace seldomly turns on now with the heater on low setting so im sure the heating bill will be minimal. The house is now a steady 68 F Too cold for some but just right for me. Nicely built unit with no frills and a function first look but it's a wall heater not a fireplace. Great economy for tough times.

Quality product
I bought this cabin for my 700 sq ft cabin at my hunting camp. It has kept my cabin warm on nights where the temperature got below 20 degrees. Heater always iginites and warms up quickly. I give this heater a good recommendation.

My kids ordered this for me for my birthday (my request) and it was broken. The plastic sleeves that the screws were screwed into to hold the iron rest were snapped off. They called and we were sent a second board. The plastic mounts were broken off in the same place, in the same way, as if the worker on that side of the board was tightening them too hard and they snapped off. If the board is extended and the tapered end is to the left, it is the bracket closest to you that was snapped off both times. I would go with a different company as this seems to be a recurring problem. The whole top is plastic, so it makes me worry about the security of the other attachments (the legs). I also advise you to request a shipping label and drop returns off at the store rather than trying to arrange a pickup. We have had problems.

Not worth half the price it's selling for!
I understand this may not be an expensive purchase, however it still is not worth the $40+ asking price. There is no cushion to the padding, so every time I iron my clothes I get bumps and burn marks from the mechanics of the ironing board coming through. This should be selling for $9.99 at a discount store. It's terrible! DO NOT purchase this ironing board unless you are willing to ruin perfectly good clothing!!

Best board for the money
We tried a bunch of different ironing boards and this one was my favourite by far. It's got a big surface area which is awesome for shirts and it's really stable. The pull out iron rest works great with out iron and it didn't cost $100 like some of the other ones we looked at.

Primo Flavorstation Home Beverage Maker Model 110

Improved model of the 100, but still discontinued.
I own both the Flavorstation 100 and Flavorstation 110. From afar, the two units look very similar. However, upon close inspection, the two machines only have a superficial resemblence to each other - and are quite different. It appears that the Flavorstation 100 had problems with it, and the Flavorstation 110 was released to correct all the problems of the 100 - but Primo still decided to withdraw from the soda maker market, allowing Sodastream to remain the only dominant force in the DIY soda market.

The only part that is the same between the 110 and the 100 is the CO2 tank - which is the same specifications as a 20 oz CO2 paintball canister. The bottle, caps, and cover for the CO2 compartment are different between the both machines. If someone already owns a 100 and buys a 110, they will be disappointed if they expected parts to be interchangeable. The 110 also stands slightly taller than the 100. The 100 has red color on the pressure release button - but the 110 is all...

Spend the extra money and get something higher quality
The CO2 tank is very hard to attach correctly without having large amounts of gas leaking, not creating enough pressure to carbonate your drink. The only purpose of this machine.
The o-ring needed to create the seal broke automatically in taking out of the box with first set up. The O-ring is also not a standard size and is square and not round ensuring it being difficult to replace.
I regret purchasing this and wish I'd spent the extra money on a sodastream.

Gets the job done
I researched all available options for making club soda at home and this seems to be the best (Sodastream is so expensive when you consider the co2 refill). I ended up buying 2 F110 since the price of an extra Co2 tank and water bottle is $40 and the whole product is $45. I found a local beer brewing store which will fill the Co2 bottles so having 2 should save some time. It is a good machine - easy to use and makes great club soda.

Rubber drive coupling for Oster blenders & Kitchen Centers.

Works and was easy to replace
easy repair and works.

Basically, unplug blender, unscrew plate at base (you don't need to remove screws for shroud inside the blender), remove plate and unscrew motor, unscrew old ripped drive coupling, screw new one in along with square drive pin from old coupler, and reassemble in reverse order.

Saved My Blender!
I was surprised, but this part fit my decades-old blender perfectly. Thanks to Oster for keeping their design so simple. Although it was a little harder than one reviewer would have it, replacing this little thing was completely in the scope of crescent wrench and screwdriver. Happy to have my old blender back in service!

The important thing to me is that Amazon carries the replacement part so I don't have to buy a new one!

Decent Product but Oversold on the Commercial

I have now owned the product for six months. I have nothing to change in my review. I am surprised that people are having so many problems with this product. My unit still works fine; the battery holds a charge; the pole has not broken; the handle has not broken. Maybe my unit is not typical. However, you do need to have realistic expectations for this product. The Swivel Sweeper is not a new revolutionary cleaning apparatus worthy of a patent (as the info commercial implies). It is just an electric sweeper for quick clean ups. If you want the thorough results that a vacuum provides--use a vacuum.

Solutions to its weaknesses ;-)
I've read some pretty bad reviews on its battery charge holding power, but was intrigued anyway enough to buy one. I LOVE it!! Enough so, that I want to give you these cautions, which I'm observing. Then I'll tell you why it's worth it.

1. It says to fully charge it (8 hours) when you first get it. Do that. Don't cheat halfway through because you want to try it out. Just leave it plugged in, uninterrupted, for the 8 hours.
2. All rechargeable batteries have some weaknesses. This one may have more. While the directions say you can re-charge it before it runs out, I am not doing that. The safest way to treat a rechargeable battery is to let it run out of juice entirely. Then give it a full charge. That prevents any possibility of the battery's "memory" programming itself to only hold a charge a shorter time.
3. Do NOT leave the battery in the charger for longer than 24 hours, and I wouldn't leave it anywhere near that. (They tell you that in the...

Don't overcharge!
I LOVE this product, and can't say enough good things about it. I purchased this product after being extremely disappointed with a more-expensive Bissell sweeper I purchased (see my review for Bissell 2800B Perfect Sweep Turbo Electric Sweeper).

There are numerous complaints in the reviews from people saying that their battery will no longer hold a charge. In reading the owner's manual, there is a warning addressing the battery life:

"IMPORTANT: ...When recharging, charge time will vary dependent upon the amount of power left in the battery after its last use. Recommended recharging time for the battery after completely depleting is 6-8 hours. Battery may be left in charger for extended periods of time, but do NOT exceed 24 consecutive hours. Doing so may lead to shortened overall battery life. It is not necessary to wait until battery power is fully depleted before charging."

I would be willing to bet that this is the cause of the problem for...

Darice Dusting Brush with Wood Handle, Size 10-Inch

High Quality Brush
This is a very high quality brush and I'm happy with it, just be aware that this is a fairly delicate product, there's only one row of bristles and the overall length is 10" not the bristle portion, so it doesn't do very well as a shop brush.

Works Well!!
I like to draw with prisma color colored pencils. When you use your hand to brush away eraser debris, your hand will smudge the colored pencil. This brush is great for brushing away eraser debris. It does not smear the colored pencils at all!! Works well!! Fairly priced and nicely made. It does not loose bristels on my paper either.

3D Bop Bag Blow up Inflatable Alligator

Not worth the money
I bought this product for my grandson and was very disappointed in the quality. The water / sand bottom was too small for the height of the alligator and it would not stand. One "punch" and the alligator laid down and did not bounce back. It is not near the quality of "punching bags" that I grew up playing with.

My 2 yr old LOVES this!!
I got this because my son loves the penguin in Sid the Science kid. I had no problem filling it, just blow air into the water compartment first. It really expanded ALOT and took in much more water for more stability. Pops right back up every time!! He hasn't stopped playiong with it yet!!

Best birthday gift!
This was a birthday present for my 4 year old granddaughter. Not only did she adore it, but her 2 year old sister fell in love with it also. It is fun, durable, and darned cute. The only small caveat is that getting the water into the chamber at the bottom was a little tricky as the plug is difficult to push back in without losing the water.

Great little fan for a bathroom with tight space. Works great & looks great , too!

Blades Are Fiberboard
I was very disappointed to find that the blades to this fan are made of fiberboard covered with wood patterned contact paper. Nowhere in the description does it say this. Instead the manufacturer says right on the outside of the box that the blades are "wengue and beech." When you open the package you see a consumer product alert notice that tells you they are made with MDF by Polywell Manufacturing Co, Ltd of China. Unfortunately, medium-density fiberboard contains formaldehyde resins which are a carcinogen. I'm putting this here for those with of health concerns.

And, to you Westinghouse: it's too bad that such a nicely designed and well-built fan is equipped with fiberboard blades. What is worse, though, is the deceptive advertising.

Small but Mighty !
I made my choice for this small Origami ceiling fan for my newly renovated kitchen. Besides being a unique design the fan is mighty and powerful ." You know they say great things come in small packages " and this is true. It definately has small fan blades but it does not wobble and it cools a decent size kitchen with no problems . The light is an added bonus. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who might just have a normal size house . Its adorable and more importantly it WORKS.

Bissell 2031283 BRUSH

Design Flaw
Bissell brushes have an inherent design flaw with the way the end caps are attached. They are riveted in place so you cannot remove them. Dirt/debris gets behind (somehow) the end caps and it causes the brush to slow down over time. This destroyed a belt and caused the motor to all but burn out. Wound up replacing our vacuum cleaner because of this. This time we bought a Hoover and couldn't be happier. Their design is far superior.

Super fast delivery and worked great
The original brush that came with the vacuum got stuck and the outside of the plastic that locks into place melted from the heat that the friction caused. The vacuum was already halfway out the door to the trash when I decided to order a new brush. Brush arrived quick and the vacuum is as good as new.

Exact Replacement
I friend of mine was throwing away his Bissell vacuum cleaner because the belt smoked. I needed another vacuum so he gave it to me. I inspected the machine and found the belt was ruined because the brush was stuck. Upon further inspection I determined that the the center of the brush had overheated and fused to the ends preventing it from rotating. A quick search on the Internet led me to Amazon and this replacement brush. I ordered it and a couple of new belts. When the parts arrived I reassembled the vacuum using the new parts. The brush works excellent and I now have another vacuum for less than twenty dollars!

I can't comment on the durability of this brush, however, because I haven't used it long enough. I do expect it to last for many years to come, but time will tell.

Really Over Priced
Talked about being ripped off and I am Amazon customer since they only sold obscure computer books in the 90's. I purchased 3 bags of totaling $31.32 and then found them on DirtDevil.com for $1.50 each totaling $10.80 instead of $3.48 a piece. Shipping will cost me $4.95 so even with shipping I will be paying 50% less. Amazon - start paying attention to what everyone else is selling things for. In the last year I have been finding your goods to be overpriced and have been going elsewhere. I can get most of your appliances from Macy's and Bloomingdale's for less then you charge. You used to be unbeatable and the place to go but now I am finding I have to spend more time pricing items as opposed to finding what I want on your site and just purchase them. Wake up before your history and no one remembers who Amazon was.

Miele Vacuum Cleaner Dusting Brush

picture = false advertising - see update
The picture of the Miele vac dusting brush shows a brush with "castle cut" bristles. I had one like that and liked it better than the one with uniform bristles that came with the vac, but my dog ate it (well, chewed it up). I was glad to see I could order another brush with castle cut bristles, but what I got was the same old uniform-length bristles. Change the picture to the actual product you are selling! Update: I see they changed the picture. Good! This brush is the same size as the one I thought I was buying, but I still prefer the castle-cut bristles. I still use the one my dog chewed up - luckily he quit before it was totally destroyed.

Smaller than Original
The brush appears to be a genuine Miele part and it is almost correct. However, it did not match the one we got with our Miele Vacuum. Perhaps they changed the design as this one is somewhat smaller. Our Miele is about 15 years old. I'm sure it will work fine.

Dusting Brush
Although I am extremely pleased with Amazon, the quality of this brush was not as I expected. It was not as good as my original but kept it as it still is usuable for some cleaning projects. Used carefully, it does do a good job on lampshades and upholstery.

Waring Pro SCM100 Professional Snow Cone Maker

Mediocre for the price
This unit has some nice features and accessories like the scoop and the easy removable bin. However, the ice cuttings are not consistent and definitely not very fine; the ice is pretty chunky after being cut. The Victorio unit, which is nearly half the price, does a much better job of shaving the ice. In this price range there are a couple of better options (like the one from Great Northern Popcorn). The unit also looks like it is made out of metal, but everything is plastic, and pretty flimsy plastic at that.

Good Snow Cone Maker
I bought this maker for home use and have used it several times. It does have a plastic handle and does not look as well built as the picture leads you to think, but it is working fine for me. I make sure I do not put a lot of pressure on the handle when using it. It chops the ice fast and the storage bin holds enought ice for my family of 4 to get a snow cone each in large to medium size cup. We do not use the snow cone holders. I would recommend this product for any one who would like to enjoy a snow cone every so often, but not for any comercial use.

iRobot Roomba 700 Series Dual HEPA Filter 6-Pack Replenishment Kit

Package only has 3 filters total!
This item is not as described. The product details clearly state that, "Included in the box is 3 sets of dual hepa filters." The picture is also misleading because it shows 6 filters. However the shipped item only has 3 filters included.

Use caution. I had to return this product.

3 is an odd number
Thought I was buying six as per the photograph but after checking the product description (which I probably should have done in the first place) I found there was only three, which as they need replacing in pairs seems rather strange.
Look and perform identical to the OEM product which is good.

Not as good as the real thing
These work but you can tell they are not the same quality as ones you would get from roomba. I've been using them for a couple months now and they seem to work okay, they trap a majority of the dust and dirt. They are tougher to pop in and out than the real deal. I guess I dont really know what qualifies a filter as "HEPA" but I doubt these qualify. I've been noticing dust on the inside of the bin after I pull the filters out, I never had that while using the ones from roomba. Overall they do work if you want to save a few bucks but they absoluty do not work as well as the ones from roomba. I dont think I'll get them again. Also, I did receive 6 filters.

Fits perfectly DC25
I have a Dyson DC-25 ball vacuum. This filter fits perfectly w/o any issue. I don't know what the other reviewers were talking about when they said they had to trim it. It fits perfectly, I even held it up to the old one, its almost exact. I replaced this filter and the one in the ball at the same time and fired up the vacuum, I about choked when I noticed the different in suction, it was like the vacuum was brand new again. My wife beats that poor thing to death, runs it till it is clogged all the way up through the tubes. I feel bad for it. I will absolutely purchase this again.

Does not fit DC-25
I purchased this product on June 13. I received it today and it does not fit. The side with the white fabric is not level with the blue plastic (like the original) Knowing that the cost to return would not make it worth the effort. I cut the excess blue plastic to make the filter fit (not the best thing to do). I will only buy original Dyson products.

Just fine.
Came quickly and fits my vacuum perfectly. Smells so much better than the old filter. Nice to find it so affordably. Thanks.

Good quality replacement belt
Happy with replacement for my Eureka vacumn except I thought I was ordering(2)belts because it says 2-pack but there was only 1 belt in pkg.

these don't last long
I found that these belts would not last long. If there was anything on the floor that would hit the rollers funny, the belt would break. I went through 2 belts in less than an hour.
I don't think they are made well,inexpensive yes, but you end up replacing the belt too quickly between the recommended replacement cycle.
I would not buy these again.

Not the right belt as claimed
These belts were paper-thin. They broke within minutes of use. I finally had to order the more expensive Eureka-made belt which has been working perfectly since.

Dyson Stiff Bristle Brush

I'm so glad I bought this brush!!!
I purchased this brush for use on my steps. Alhtough I have the mini turbo brush that came with my dyson, it seems like it doesn't have enough suction power to even turn the brush bar when i'm doing the top steps. as a result, i gave up using it and have tried several different products to remove the stubborn dog hair from my carpeted steps. THIS BRUSH FINALLY DID THE TRICK!!!! The stiff bristles make it effective in combing the hair up out of the carpet and bringing it to the surface of each step. I find myself vacuuming my steps much more often now, because i'm so pleased with the results. Works great on my couches and the car too. I found that the bristles on the standard brush attachment that came with the vacuum were too flimsy to clean the couch effectively. This little puppy does just fine!!! Check out the soft dusting brush, too. I purchased them together and love them both!

Excellent Tool
Although this seems like an accessory that I could have done without, I am very, very please how useful this tool is. It does a better job of picking up debris where the wall and the carpet meeting. I also used it with Absorb carpet cleaner. In the past I was not able to get all of the carpet cleaner up, but I can when I use this tool.

perfect for vacuuming the carpet in my car and the stiff bristles are great for getting pet hair off my car seats. I also recently used it for cleanning a couple of window screens and it worked great.

Smokeless Ashtray Replacement Filters

It Really Works!
Okay, I am allergic to smoke. My fiance smokes like a friggin' freight train IN THE HOUSE. Which drives me nuts. I burn incense, I burn candles, I have, like 11 of those glade plug in air freshener thingys. This smokeless ashtray helps me TREMENDOUSLY because when he's not taking a drag, he puts the cigarette in the ashtray and it sucks all of the smoke out of the cigarette and it pretty much eats the smoke. Maybe there is a vortex inside the ashtray that sux all the smoke out into space. I don't know. All I know is if you empty the ashtray out every couple of days, and stay on top of keeping fresh filters and batteries in it you will be a happy camper. Oh, and the ashtray is slightly noisy when placed on a hard surface so we put in on a towel and that helps muffle the sound. I would recommend this magical machine. It is saving my lungs. Peace.

This little beauty actually works! It collects the smoke and keeps my wife happy as well. Filters last about 6 months, so be sure you have extras on hand.

I purchased this as my third model. It is by far the best. I smoke in my office/craft room with the door closed and this filters all the smoke. I am going to order more filters because the smell is bothering me. I think a new filter will help. I do wash the top with soap and water every few days.

The milk frother, just push a button an in about 30 seconds you have perfect frothed steamed milk -- no manual labor required. It is practical, since it takes a couple of seconds (or a couple more for a cappuccino) to make the espresso, simple to use. GREAT!!! LOVE IT!!!

It works well for bags that are not for heavy duty. It shorts out easy on the heavy duty bags. The company I ordered from gave very good service. The first sealer shorted out after a few bags were sealed. The company sent us another sealer right away. We ordered this through Amazon.

Piece of junk
I bought one of these several months ago and it stopped working after a few seals.

The seller refunded me and told me to keep it. I felt guilty leaving bad feedback because the seller refunded me in full. I wanted to at least leave a product review so that others have my feedback on the product.

Briefly, after I received a refund on this product I ordered a replacement from Uline. The Uline models cost much more so I only got a 12" sealer to save money. Comparing the two devices side-by-side it is easy to see how differently each is constructed. Clearly, the Uline sealer is a better quality product.

After the cheap one failed the first day out of the box I tried to fix it, for several hours. It would work for a few seals and then die again, which is why I asked for a refund.

After I got the Uline model, because I still had this piece of junk and was sorry I didn't buy a longer sealer, I tried to fix it again. Indeed, I tried on several...

good for the money
this was about the lowest price i could find for one of these. unfortunately, the unit was defective but the customer service was OUTSTANDING in replacing it. i really was very impressed, and the replacement works well. it does take some trial and error to get a neat edge, but once you get it down the unit works very nicely.

Hoover 38528-027 Elite Belt (Now 38528-040) - 1 Belt

At least you sold two belts.
I needed belt number 38528-027. Took the number off the old belt and the tag on the machine, so I know it is correct. I was sent belt # 38528040, supposedly a replacement for that belt. It is not a replacement. It's 3 1/2 " shorter than the belt I need. Go figure. At 2.00 each I probably will not spend $5 to ship them back. Bought two for 'just in case'.

Very Good Product
Quality heavy duty belt at a very reasonable price. Does what its supposed to do. Not much more I can say except, always make sure you are ordering the exact belt replacement for your vac. This will save you the hassle of a return. Belts are very specific to type and model of the vac you have.

CORRECT REPLACEMENT PART FOR AN OLD MACHINE
The belt seemed at first not to be the correct one. However, in a telephone conversation the seller assured me that although the part number was new, the belt was the same. After following his instructions for the
installation, I found the belt worked correctly.
The seller was very responsive, prompt, and knowledgeable; the item was appropriately priced. I highly recommend this company for Hoover parts.

Mint 4200 Automatic Floor Cleaner Battery

A simple Cure
My Mint was gradually losing it's run time. After charging it only ran for 30 - 45 minutes. I called the Mint manufacturer who suggested that I needed new wheels and did not want to sell me a new battery. Fortunately, I found the exact battery on Amazon for a fraction of the cost. Exact fit with the brand name "Mint" on it. The Mint works great for over 2 hours now.

Magic Chef 1.6cf 1100 W White Microwave ( MCD1611W )

10 minutes of life
We were so excited and surprised at how large this is. The first thing we did was try to defrost a pound of minced beef. We pot it all together and plugged it in opened the door and selected meat defrost. Pushed start and off it went! Lights on and the meat turn around like a champ! 9 minutes later it dinged and we went to examine its production. The meat was still frozen and only the outside was defrosted. Maybe to a 1/4" depth was defrosted. Then we decide to try again and the door wont close? Suddenly seems to be off center and refuses to lock in. We call Magic Chef and they say they will send a repair man out and he will fix it, but no idea as to when he will come or from where. Just am assurance that he will repair the machine and it will work like new again as it is still under warranty. I told her IT IS NEW??? 10 minutes set up and out of the box is old? What warranty expires after 10 MINUTES!!! I am now not impressed at all. Amazon is picking it up tomorrow.

Excellent!
I've been using this microwave for about a month now with zero issues. I had a 900w microwave before for years so it's awesome to see my food actually cook properly according to the times on the boxes :) I like all the shortcut buttons to the most common microwave uses.

DO NOT BUY this product.
This was a horrible purchase. It is a large and powerful microwave...when it is functioning. I purchased this microwave about a week ago, and used it all of three times to heat up dinner. The fourth time, I made popcorn, and it suddenly stopped. I initially thought maybe the fuse blew, but the clock on the stove was still on, and all the lights were still on. Checked the fuse box, and everything was still on. Picked it up (all forty pounds of it) and moved it to another outlet, but it still didn't work.

I give up. I called the manufacturer as the microwave, being less than a week old, is still under warranty, but they were really less than helpful. Bottom line is, if the stuff doesn't work, at least have good customer service. Their product is horrible and their customer service matches that.

SquareTrade 4-Year Large Appliance Protection Plan ($1250-1500)

Pays 100% and easy to work with.
We purchase a Samsung Refirigerator/freezer from Sears. It came with a 1 year warranty. I found out Square Trade was a fraction of the cost Sears charged for extended warranties, so I bought a 5 years extended warranty. As luck would have it, we encountered a problem about 10 months after we bought the unit. It was minor, but 1st, Sears said it wasn't covered, then told us to fix it ourselves. Finally they sent a tech out, who said he didn't have a clue. After the Square Trade warranty kicked in, we called about water in the crisper drawer. The tech they chose came out, fixed the 1st problem Sears didn't have clue about, then replaced a defroster panel. The fix seemed to work for about 2 weeks, then came back. The service tech refused to come back, so we called Square Trade. a different service tech came out, replaced the same panel and made a few modifications. This lasted a week. Again, once paid they did not want to come back. We finally called Samsung and arranged for a factory...

Great company
I must say on this particular warranty, I cancelled it since the appliance it was covering never arrived. It took only minutes before it was confirmed as a cancellation. It took 3 days to appear on my credit card as a credit. This is as quick as it can be done. I have a friend who had a TV problem and Square Trade was fast and great. (refund after trying to fix it)All done quickly and without hassle.

Great price, but quality not so good!!!
I'm a professional contractor and accomadate customers of all budgets. So on the lower budget, I purchased this stainless steel range hood and while installing it, noticed the construction is on the light duty side, it arrived with 2 dents, and the motor is loud. On the specifications, it does not describe the decibal range of noise (wonder why?). The stainless steel main body, shaped like a pyramid, is flimsy. Now there are only two reviews (not including this is) which claim this is a great product. I do agree when they speak about the price, however, you get what you pay for. Spend a little more and get a better and more reliable and quieter range hood. This one may not last long......

its not expensive, and for what you pay -- well, you get what you paid for -- it is loud, in that when you touch the buttons for illumination or for the fan a loud electronic beep sound resonates in the chamber with an echo -- it is not really necessary, unless your in a kitchen that is hyper loud - but the fan db is so loud that it is not like you would not notice it being on...the actually stainless work has a few corner bends on the ends that are not straight - it is noticeable if you are detail oriented - also the metallic vents are only available through the distributor as it is a custom piece - they're 10bucks a pop and one of mine arrived bent. overall I like it for two hundred bucks but given the, you save 70% on the regular price, I expected higher quality -

The chimney works very well. The motor is very strong and deceivingly quiet.
Touch screen panel is a nice feat and very modern.
The solid stainless body is sexy and very easy to clean. Such a nice looking hood. Great buy!

Waring Commercial WCT708 Medium Duty Brushed Chrome Steel Toaster with 4 Slots

I ordered this toaster because i own several other Waring products and have been extremely pleased with them all. I have not been disappointed with this one either. I love the 'warm up' feature, especially since i so often leave the toast there too long while running round after the kids!!! Looks great too

Finally a toaster that toasts !
I hate to do this to Amazon - although I love them very much. I ordered a toaster from Krups. Being from Germany I thought that this would be "Quality Made in Germany". I was wrong - it was made in China. It took nearly 10 minutes for a slice of toast to come out. So, I did some research and found that the better and more professional toasters are the ones restaurants use. Because of the higher Watt (1800 in the case of Waring WCT708) the toaster works like a miracle. True, it's not a "cute and shiny" as the Krups KH734D and there are no "whistle and bells" and tons of "buttons" - but in comparison, I can finally have breakfast and do not have to sit and wait for the toast to come out. Being an avid chef I do appreciate good kitchen equipment - even if it also comes from China as the Waring WCT708. Will see how long this toaster will last as many products from China give up in the shortest of time :-) Is nothing being produced in the US anymore?

For the price of this toaster, it is merely OK. I have a setting range of 1 - 9 and can toast on # 3 or # 4. The other settings either don't toast or burn the toast. I would not buy this again.

My Hurom vs. Breville review
I need to preface this review with the fact that it is just my personal taste.

This is my second juicer, my first was a Breville Juice Fountain at half the cost. I gave the Breville to my parents tto try this Hurom slow juicer after seeing side by side comparison videos from the manufacturer. Let me just point out that I was satisfied with the Breville but the video made me think it was inferior.

Top reasons why I bought the Hurom and gave up the Breville, based on claims I thought to be made by the manufacturer/style of juicer:
1. Nutritionally superior juice & somehow it would last longer
2. Greater volume of juice with same amount of food
3. Quiet motor
4. Easier to clean
5. The ability to make milks and smoothies and control the amount of pulp.

I paid $400 to replace a working juicer thinking that these things were going to be worth the upgrade, greater nutrition and lifespan of the juice being the main one. After a few...

Good product according to expectations
You get some more juice than from ordinary centrifugal juicers. You have to consider that this juicer needs smaller pieces of fruit.

I have owned my share of vacuums over the years. And like strollers, I kept trying to find the "one" that would be all I needed. I think I finally found it! Nice vacuum cleaner with flaws
I bought this vacuum when our dog started to shed for the first time. The old one just didn't get the hair off the rugs. We were not disappointed by the Miele Titan suction power - it's ability to get most hair off of rugs and upholstery is amazing.
But there are some things about this model that are truly annoying. You should consider them before you buy:

1. The cord is about 1/2 the lenght of our old Kenmore canister vaccum. We constantly have to move it to another outlet. The operating radius is very limited. This is what my wife complains the most about.
2. The dust bag compartment is tiny. The bags could hold a lot more dirt, but because the compartment is so tiny, they fill up quickly. 4 bags cost about $20, which turned out to be a real money sink. I estimate that we will spend another $600 over the first 5 years on dust bags. This is what I complain the most about.
3. There is no onboard tool compartment. I'd rather have a little larger canister and...

Brentwood 1.5L SS Cordless Tea Kettle

Disappointing
The kettle worked fine for the first 2 weeks. Then corrosion began to appear around the spout. A week later, rust began appearing inside the kettle on the bottom plate which is supposed to be "stainless steel". We were very disappointed with this product.

I like it, a lot!
I've used this about 15 times in the past week and so far so good.
The only gripes I have are
A)Cord could be longer.
B)It would be nice to have a fill line outside.
C)Boy does calcium build up fast in this thing I use only filtered water in this thing and it gets that cloudy calcium film after every use, but as I'm typing this it occurs to me that maybe it's because I leave leftover water in it. I'll stop doing that and see what happens.
*Just a little heads up - don't let calcium build up or you'll never get rid of it. Also with anything stainless steel it would be a worth while investment to purchase some 'Barkeepers friend'. That stuff rocks!

Also I wish it boiled water a little bit hotter. Don't get me wrong it works fine for tea but I put honey in my tea and the water that comes out of this isn't quite hot enough to dissolve the honey in the water 100%, I'd say 85-90%. But I think it's a fair trade off for the speed and convenience...

It works really well and it is pretty as well as functional. Would definitely recommend it . It does not take up too much space on my counter

Chef's Choice 830B WafflePro Classic Belgian Waffle Maker

Definately Above the Rest
Like other reviewers, I looked carefully before choosing this waffle maker. While not the cheapest, I am very happy with it. It makes fantastic waffles, is super easy to use, and is very easy to clean. I was surprised when the instructions stated that you only need to oil the iron once (the first time you use it), and this has proven to be true. The iron needs minimal cleaning after use; in fact, the instructions state that you should not scrub the iron after use - just wipe off any excess batter and put it away. I think the oil in the batter stays on the iron, but am not sure.

There is a wide channel running alongside the iron that catches any spill-overs and sends them down toward the front of the machine, keeping the machine and my counter clean.

Others have pointed out the temperature adjustment feature on this machine, which is straightforward and eay to use. Other machines just had a slider that gave no indication of whether one position was hot, not...

We have wanted a good belgian waffle and haven't been able to find one until now. I started by reading all the reviews on all brands of belgian waffle makers. I liked what Chef's Choice reviews said. I ordered it and haven't been sorry. We use it at least once a week. It's not very big, but it can put out the waffles fast. They come out just the way we like them, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I like it because you can control just how crisp you want it on the outside. I highly recommend this waffle maker.

Great Waffles...Great Price
I've owned this waffle maker for over a year now and have given it as a gift. It heats up fast and provides a lot of flexibility in doneness. Easy to clean its non-stick surface. Like all similar machines, don't overfill with batter and the clean-up is minimal. It also stores well in a small space. I see that the newer model has a locking mechanism for storage. Nice, but not needed.

I use Carbon's malted waffle mix. I've never seen it in the stores, but you can order it from their website. It's the same mix used by Marriott's Residence Inn chain and comes in several flavors. Blueberry and Pumpkin are our favs, and the plain can be used as a base for your own creativity.

OXO Good Grips Professional Sharpening Steel

It came quickly, 6 days with Amazon's free shipping. It came today and within 10 mins all my knifes were very sharp. I then gave my new OXO 6.5 knife (I ordered this with the hone) a few passes over my sharping stone then 10 light passes on the hone "WOW" I can shave with this now.

I like the handles/grips on all of my OXO products.

Very pleased. Well worth the price (14.95)

Make your knives razor sharp
This sharpening steel is obviously a quality product. My first time to use one of these. A few strokes on the steel after sharpening on a stone and wow my knives are now truly razor sharp. Well worth the money. Comfortable handle. Overall length 14 inches, actual steel portion 9 1/4 inches. Length is adequate for my kitchen knives.

Honing steel - Not a Knife Sharpener.
I love this. I use it with my OXO Santoku knife and OXO slicer.

However to be accurate, this is made of steel, so actually it's a honing steel (which realigns the edge to improve sharpness). It is NOT a sharpening stone (which takes metal bits off the knife), and is not fragile (most sharpening stones are ceramic, and break if dropped).

That means if you have a dull knife, this product will not help - you need a sharpening stone to get the fine edge back.

However, if you use this honing steel frequently to KEEP your sharp edge in tact, it can help you MAINTAIN a sharp edge and help you to avoid needing a sharpening stone.

Great handle, simple and straight-forward directions.

I would recommend it.
